We planned a beautiful day at the beach in Santa Severa which also has a castle you can visit. Santa Severa’s castle is a striking rectangular medieval fortress with sea views from the Saracen Tower. Santa Severa’s Castle is one of the most evocative places of the Lazio region, located along the Tyrrhenian coast to the north of Rome, it is a heritage of inestimable value both historical and cultural.
We welcome everyone to join us! If you have not been here then you will definitely adore the sea and also take others there too! It will be difficult to get a group all together on the beach with Covid restrictions as Italians love this place too!
When: Sunday June 20th @11:00 ( If you want to come later you can. We have a whatsapp chat for this event and will share the pin location)
Where: Beach of Santa Severa near the Castle
Cost: FREE pay for what you want for the day.
Hosted by: Tino – Remember to thank him!
How to participate: Join the whatsapp group chat once you join the chat you can let us know if you are coming by train or by car, and if you can offer a ride in your car.
Meeting point: We should be on the beach by 11:00 or earlier to get a spot. You can come when you want and you will know where we are once you join the whatsapp chat and have the live pin.
How to get there: You can come by car, maybe someone in the whatsapp chat will offer a ride. Not many have cars and will depend on the train. The train tickets cost €4.10 one way. You can buy tickets on trenitalia website.
LUNCH: Bring your own food and drink. There are some restaurants on the beach but most likely they would be packed to book for a group.
Tickets to visit the Castle here in English.
What you can do for the day: You can explore the area and take pictures, bath in the sea, visit the Castel and for sure make new international friends.
