LABs are 30-minute private lessons that can be taken online, via WhatsApp, by phone, or in person at our office.
If your group teacher is not available, simply email us at [email protected] to claim your LABs, and we will arrange another teacher for you.
You can also combine your LABs. For example, you may use two 30-minute LABs for a 1-hour lesson, or use all three LABs together for one 1.5-hour private lesson.

When does my course package begin? The calendar week of the first class you attend is counted as week one of your package.
If I pay now, can I start in two months? Yes. You may purchase your package now and select a later start date, subject to class availability. Please tell our office your preferred start date when enrolling.
Can I purchase more than one package during a promotion? Yes. Each student may purchase a maximum of two packages at the promotional price.
Is there a reward if I refer a friend? Yes! When a new friend enrolls and purchases a package, you will both receive two complimentary weeks of lessons at one class per week.
Can I pause my lessons if I have an emergency? You may submit a written request to our office. Requests to pause a package or refund unused future lessons are reviewed individually and are not automatically guaranteed.
Can I pay the teacher in cash? Yes. Cash payments may be made directly to the teacher.
Do you offer preparation for the B1 Italian certificate exam? Yes. We offer preparation for the B1 Italian certificate exam. Contact us to ask about current group schedules or private preparation lessons.
Are lessons available in person and online? Yes. We offer in-person classes in Rome as well as online lessons for students worldwide.
Where are the in-person lessons held? Classes are available at our Trastevere locations in Rome. Your enrollment confirmation will include the complete address and arrival instructions.
How long is each lesson? Group lessons are 90 minutes. Semi-private lessons for one or two students are 60 minutes.
What are LABs? LABs are 30-minute private Italian lessons included with selected course packages. They can be taken online, via WhatsApp, by phone, or in person at our office. You may use one LAB at a time or combine them—for example, 2 LABs = 1 hour or 3 LABs = 1.5 hours. If your group teacher is unavailable, email [email protected] and we’ll arrange another teacher for you.
How many students are in each group? Group classes have a maximum of eight students. A minimum of four students is normally required to confirm a class. Higher levels have less students so that everyone has enough time to speak.
Which Italian levels do you offer? We offer lessons from beginner through advanced levels, following the CEFR system from A1 to C2.
How do I know which level is right for me? If you are unsure of your level, we can help place you in the most appropriate class before you begin.
Are learning materials included? Yes. The materials required for your lessons are provided.
Can I change my class time or level? Requests to change classes are considered based on your level and available space. Please organize changes directly with the teacher.
Is there a registration fee? Yes. There is a one-time registration fee of €45 or $50 per student, separate from the course-package price.
What happens if there is a train strike or major public transportation disruption? When a major transport strike affects teachers and students in Rome, we can make an exception and extend your lesson package so you do not lose that class.
