Foxtrail is a team experience for friends, clubs, companies and families in which the town becomes a playing field. In order to avoid losing track of the fox, the teams (2-6 persons) have to break codes and find hidden messages en route. But beware – it can be quite challenging.

How does it work:

1. Book your ticket
Select date and time for your team and book on www.foxtrail.it

2. Receive your Documents
Open the PDF attachment to our booking confirmation email and print it.

3. Go to the starting point
At the selected time and date show up at the starting point of your trail with your team and follow the first instructions

4. Check-in
Send an SMS with your booking number as per instruction to start the game.

5. Complete the Trail
Explore and play with your team to solve the hidden clues. Have fun and enjoy the experience!

WHAT IS FOXTRAIL

It’s a sort of  “escape game” to play in groups to discover the city. Participants receive an “adventure manual” (not on their mobile phone or via app but a tangible thing…) that guides step by step using technology and creativity to receive clues for the next step. The main characteristic of this game is that we use real physical installations across the city hosted either in public areas or through our partners.

OUR ADVENTURES

Walking trails (FOXTRAILS):

TRASTEVERE REVOLUTION takes place in the area of Trastevere/Gianicolo and lasts about 2 hours.

VILLA BORGHESE DREAMERS takes place around the Villa Borghese area but starts and ends outside the villa in very special areas and lasts about 2.5 – 3 hours.

Bike trails (FOXBIKE):

ADVENTURE IN THE CASTLE is an adventure path that allows you to reach a real castle on the outskirts of Rome starting from the center of Rome (Porta Pia) and which takes place all on cycle paths! We have set up 8 interactive stations along the route that can be reached gradually by solving the proposed puzzles and thus unlocking the interactive maps that allow you to identify the next station guided by a proprietary APP. The tour can be guided in both Italian and English The route can be done with your own or rented bikes.

MISSION 3 VILLE is an adventure path that allows you to explore three historic villas in Rome (Villa Borghese, Villa Ada and Villa Glori) always using cycle paths for connections and giving the possibility to reach many places of absolute interest (Es Parco dei Daini, Bioparco, Bunker Savoia, Auditorium, Ponte della Musica, Etruscan Museum, etc.) We have set up 9 interactive stations along the route that can be reached gradually by solving the proposed puzzles and thus unlocking the interactive maps that allow you to identify the next station guided by a proprietary APP. The route is circular and is about 13 km long from the starting point (Porta Pinciana) towards the NORTH. The tour can be guided in both Italian and English. The route can be done with your own or rented bike (agreement in place with a rental point at the departure).

FOR TEAM BUILDING

For larger groups our proposal is to divide into smaller groups (max 6-7 people per team) to allow everyone a full enjoyment of the adventure. The teams start at a short distance from each other (usually 15 minutes) to avoid overlapping and then all teams are waiting each other at the end in front of an aperitif (optional).

FOR FAMILIES

For families it is a really interesting experience because it allows to involve adults and children in the same game and discover the city by doing something fun together while walking among the beauties of our city (some really hidden gems).

GAME MODE

The game can be played in a relaxed way and with the pure purpose of having fun and discover together the wonders along the way or can be played in “competitive” mode in which we can trace exactly the times for each team and appoint a final winner (we are also thinking of other forms of competition more creative and we can talk about it if you are interested in some other idea).

PRICES

The standard starting price is 17 euros for each adult, 12 euros for children from 8 to 12 years or 50 euros for a family ticket (ie 2 adults and 2 children), but we are also interested in making “conventions” that provide discount codes for members of a specific association or company in the event that multiple and subsequent uses of the service are expected (or we can provide commissions for the concierge service…).

LANGUAGES

Our trails are available for now in Italian and English but we are working to have them also in Spanish, French and German. In the event that you feel it is useful to have an accompanying service of our staff who can take care of communicating the instructions of the game to the participants, follow the departures of the teams and then ensure the smooth running of the game and without loss of time there is an additional cost of 20 euro one-off.

Finally, if you are interested in a final aperitif at the facilities of our partners, we have a proposal to 10 euros per person.
