The outdoor summer of the Teatro di Roma lights up the stage in the park of Villa Torlonia with a program of initiatives that will accompany spectators, citizens, and tourists until July 20th, offering evenings of art, including music, concerts, opera voices, and shows for children and families, in a collaborative project with Municipio II of Rome and the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma.
A suggestive urban space to inhabit and explore with the event “July under a Curtain of Stars at Villa Torlonia,” where summer takes its place on the open-air stage at Campo dei Tornei, within the museum context of the Villa. It will host events organized by Municipio II and concerts by the Teatro dell’Opera, with acrobatic performances and special effects from the CIRCOinFest Festival of the Teatro di Roma.
The program at Villa Torlonia is further enriched by the artistic offerings of the Teatro dell’Opera, which proposes concerts with the shared vision of promoting musical art, enhancing the summer season of the Teatro di Roma with three interludes from the opera and classical repertoire.
– July 20th, a recital for voices and piano by “Fabbrica” – Young Artist Program, a concert dedicated to pieces from Mozart’s most famous operas, including Don Giovanni, Le nozze di Figaro, La clemenza di Tito, ldomeneo, and Così fan tutte.
Furthermore, the summer in Villa Torlonia’s park is filled with shows for children and families
– July 22nd and 23rd: the Eccentrici Dadarò company presents the art of transformation with “Incomica”
– July 17th and 18th: an exclusive event with “Fili Invisibili” (Invisible Threads) by the 6tu Collective explores Italo Calvino’s passion for nature.
The programming of “July under a Curtain of Stars at Villa Torlonia” is a production of the Teatro di Roma with the support of Municipio II of Rome and in collaboration with the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma.
