Our trek begins at the Sgurgola Train Station and takes us through the village, then into the forest, revealing hidden gems along the uphill path. This approximately 5.5-hour hike (excluding briefings and rest breaks) covers about 11 kilometers with a 700-meter elevation gain over uneven and rocky terrain, ensuring a thrilling challenge for avid hikers.
Easily accessible by train, Sgurgola lies just an hour outside of Rome. Conducted entirely in English, the hike is a loop route that brings you back to the starting point. Guided by a professional registered guide, your safety and experience are our top priorities.
