Tiberis, the park overlooking the Tiber, opens in Rome: it is an area of approximately two hectares, located on the left bank of the river, at the height of Ponte Marconi, on the bank of the VIII municipality, equipped as a beach on the river. In fact, as has become tradition, this year too the area has been organized with water games for children, straw umbrellas and areas for relaxing, refreshment points, table football, ping pong and two beach volleyball courts.
There is also an accessible, clean and welcoming kiosk, a space dedicated to well-being with yoga lessons and other disciplines to participate in, in contact with nature. Then in the evening, from aperitif time onwards, various live music events and dance evenings are scheduled.
At the end of the summer season the Tiberis area will be part of the construction site for the new Tiber South river park, which confirms the definitive return of these important spaces to the citizens. In fact, the transformation of Tiberis from a temporary space, linked only to summer events, to a large permanent park is part of a broader vision of the city, in which the Tiber will be the largest linear park of the city.
