Join us for an unforgettable adventure at Monte Catillo, just outside the enchanting city of Tivoli near Rome. Experience breathtaking panoramic views and the thrill of wilderness on the renowned “Via dei Lupi” or “Wolves’ Path.”
This 4.5-hour guided hiking tour includes engaging briefings and rest breaks. Immerse yourself in nature as you learn about the region’s unique fauna and flora, including the native wolves and the Maremmana breed. Perfect for those who love a physical challenge, this medium-to-difficult trek covers approximately 8.5 kilometers (5.3 miles) with an elevation gain of 320 meters (1050 feet), traversing uneven, mountainous terrain.
Our professional hiking guide will ensure a safe and fascinating journey. Please assemble at the Tivoli parking area 15 minutes before our start time. The entire tour is conducted in English, German, and Italian.
What to bring: It’s important to wear hiking boots and suitable outdoor clothing. Pack 1.5 liters of water and your own hiking lunch. Additional recommended items include a raincoat, sunscreen, and snacks.
This tour is not recommended for children under 14 or individuals with vertigo. Remember, the final route may vary due to weather or safety concerns.
